  C. Cost: $20.00 – Will be charged to your judgingcard account
  D. Registration: On judgingcard.com by Wednesday, September 18, 2019
  E. Forms: Bring 2 forms filled out and signed to participate (Area V Health History & Area V Medical Release). Download forms from Area 5 website and make copies as needed.

  A. Date: May 11, 2020; Registration 9:00 AM, Convention 10:00 AM.
  B. Place: Texas A&M University – Commerce Field House
  C. Number of delegates per chapter:
1-50 = 1  •  51-100 = 2  •  101-150 = 3  •  151-200 = 4  •  201-250 = 5  •  251-300= 6
  D. Courtesy Corp will be on a volunteer basis.
  E. Note: Voting delegates must be in official dress.
 

OFFICER LEADERSHIP CONFERENCES


Area Leadership Conference Chairmen
Chairman: Spenser Adams – Sunnyvale

  A. Dates:  Conference A: June 8-10, 2020  & Conference B: June 15-17, 2020
  B. Time:  Check in at 8:30 – 9:30 AM, Camp begins at 10 AM, Camp will end at 11 AM
  C. Place:  Texas A&M – Commerce
  D. Cost: $100 per person (includes teachers, teacher’s children, spouses, etc.) 
  E. Registration: On judgingcard.com by Friday, May 15, 2020
  F. Payment: will be charged to your judgingcard account
  G. Participation:
1) Area Officers are required to be at both conferences. 
2) District Officers should attend one of the two conferences, but cannot attend both.
3) Chapter Officers can attend either conference.
  H. Number of participants: If a chapter is bringing more than 2 officers, an advisor must stay the entire conference to help chaperone!
  I. Rules: Participants must be present for the total conference and abide by all camp rules.
  J. Forms:  Bring with you (DO NOT MAIL!) 4 forms filled out and signed to participate (1. Area V FFA Minor’s Release Form; 2. Area V FFA Health History Form; 3. MRC Waiver Form; 4. TAMUC Waiver Form)
  K. What to bring:  personal toiletries, towel/washcloth, hand towel, sleeping bag or one set of twin sheets, blanket, pillow and pillow case.
 

STATE CONVENTION

  A. Date: July 6 – 10, 2020
  B. Place: Dallas, TX

  D. Convention registration rotation by district:
District 7 – 2020
District 1 – 2021
District 2 – 2022
District 3 – 2023
District 4 – 2024
District 5 – 2025
District 6 – 2026
  E. Number of teachers needed for registration:
Monday – 3 teachers; 4pm – 6pm
Tuesday – 3 teachers; 8am – 1 pm
Tuesday – 3 teachers; 12pm- 5pm
Wednesday – 3 teachers; 8am – 1pm
